1. My Bag

It is a sunny morning. I want to go to the park. I need my blue bag. The bag is small, but it has room for my things. I like its two big pockets. One pocket is on the front.

I put a red book on the table. I put an apple next to the book. I need some water too. My water bottle is in the kitchen. I fill the bottle and put it on the table.

My sister comes into the room. She has a yellow bag. Her bag has a little white star. My blue bag has no star. I look at her bag, but it is not my bag. My bag is still missing.

I look under the table. There is a ball under it. I look on the chair. There is a coat on it. I move the coat. My blue bag is not on the chair. Where is it?

2. Where Is It?

I go to my room. I look on the bed. I see a shirt and a small book. I look under the bed. There are two shoes. I can see both shoes, but I cannot see my bag.

My sister helps me look. She opens a big box near the bed. There are old books in the box. She closes the box again. We look behind the chair. There is a sock there. There is no bag.

We go back to the door. A long coat is behind it. There is something blue under the coat. I move the coat to one side. Now I can see my bag. It is on a hook behind the door.

I take the blue bag from the hook. I open it. There is a small cup inside. The front pocket has an old paper in it. I take the paper out. My sister puts the coat back on the hook.

3. Ready to Go

I put the blue bag on the table. I open the big pocket. The cup can stay in the bag. I put the water bottle next to it. I close the bottle well. I do not want water in my bag.

I put the apple in the front pocket. It is a green apple. Then I put the red book in the big pocket. I lift the bag. It is heavy now. The red book is very big and heavy.

I take the red book out again. My small book is on the bed. I get it and put it in the bag. I lift the bag once more. This book is light. The bag is easy to carry now.

My sister looks at the table. There is a little paper near the red book. It is my bus ticket, but we want to walk today. I leave the ticket at home. I close my bag. We are ready.

4. Home Again

We walk to the park together. We sit under a tree. I open my blue bag and take out the cup. I pour some water into it. My sister has her own bottle. We drink and look at the trees.

I eat my apple. My sister reads a book from her yellow bag. I take out my small book too. It has pictures of birds. A little bird is near our feet. We sit still and watch it.

After a short time, we walk home. I put my cup in the kitchen. I put my small book on the table. The apple is gone, but its small brown middle is in a paper. I put that in the bin.

I open both pockets of my blue bag. They are empty now. I put the bag on the chair near the door. My sister puts her yellow bag beside it. I can see my blue bag from the table.
